Brad Owen
Brad Owen graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 earning a Liberal Arts Degree. While attending college he worked in the commercial cleaning industry as a floor service technician specializing in carpet cleaning. After graduation he took a account management position for a local cleaning learning all aspects of the commercial cleaning industry. In 2013 he and his partners Wells Reese and Rick Owen decided that they wanted to launch their own Commercial Cleaning company focusing on client relations, hard work, and using the latest innovations to provide the best possible service to their clients. Brad still enjoys cleaning carpet in the evenings to stay in touch with where his cleaning career begin. In his off time, he enjoys playing music in bands around town on the weekends and watching college football. He is happily married to wife Shawna, and they have two wonderful kids, daughter Lennon, and son Rivers.
Wells Reese
Wells Reese graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1989 earning a BS in Business Administration. After graduation, Wells’ first job was as a product specialist for Policy Management Systems Corporation in Columbia. After five years in the computer industry, Wells worked as the operations director for a Chinese glass company, as operations director, distributing automobile glass throughout the US and Mexican markets. In 2001, Wells became Vice President of a local cleaning company in Columbia and has been in the commercial cleaning business ever since. In 2013, Wells and Brad and Rick began the Sandlapper Cleaning journey striving for continuous improvement in all that we do. When not at work, Wells still plays computer games and enjoys time spent at the beach. Wells is happily married to wife Cindy, they have twin boys Ellis, who works for Sandlapper and Miles, who went rogue and is the medical industry.
Ellis Reese
Ellis Reese has been working in the service business since he was a teenager. His father, Wells Reese, taught him from a young age to work in the cleaning industry. Ellis graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2016 with a degree in Mathematics, and continued his education getting a masters from Southeastern Baptist theological seminary. During his educational career he worked for his father Wells, when he began Sandlapper Cleaning. He decided to continue pursuing a career in the service industry and has stayed on full time since! Apart from work, Ellis enjoys playing and coaching tennis, hanging out with friends, and singing.
Rick Owen
Rick Owen attended the University of South Carolina studying business and went to work thirty-one years in the commercial property/project management industry. He spent the last thirteen years as Vice President of Property Management at NAI Avant until retiring in 2018. He then was able to devote full time to Sandlapper cleaning which was started in 2013 with his son Brad Owen and friend Wells Reese. Rick utilizes his commercial real estate experience to capitalize on the construction cleaning, commercial maintenance services and Industrial warehouse cleaning that Sandlapper offers throughout the state of SC. When not working, he and his wife Sandy enjoy boating and hanging out at Folly Beach with family and friends.
Dalton Hinton
Dalton Hinton was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Ridge View High School in 2013 and after graduating, set out to join the US Military. In September of 2015 he enlisted in the US Army as an AH-64D Attack Helicopter repairer (15R). During his time in the military, he did a non-combat tour in Illesheim, Germany, as well as a combat tour in FOB Shank/Dahlke, Afghanistan. During active duty, he served with 127th Aviation Support Battalion undergoing heavy mainenance, as well as 3-6 Combat Aviation Brigade undergoing line-unit maintenance. As an Apache mechanic, his role was to disassemble, inspect, reassemble (or replace) aircraft components to ensure flight safety for pilots operating the aircraft. During this time, he was able to hone and develop key skills which could be transferred into the civilian world such as attention to detail, leadership skills, communication skills, time-management, personnel management, and more. After six years of active-duty service, he was honorably discharged and decided it was time to come back home to South Carolina. He has been working as an Account Manager with Sandlapper for just over a year. While he has learned much in regards to commercial cleaning, he looks forward to his continued growth and knowledge in the business among the best and brightest. When he's not at work, he enjoys watching (and playing) sports, working out, video games, and socializing with friends.
Brice Spigener
Brice Spigener graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2018 earning an Associate in Business Management. Brice has spent the last six years gaining invaluable experience in both property management and construction. Brice is a parishioner of St Joseph's Catholic Church and is happily married to his loving wife, Ashleigh. Outside of work, Brice enjoys South Carolina football and playing music.

Chris Devoter
Chris DeVoter attended Midlands Technical College studying information technology. Starting in 2011, Chris began working for Brad Owen specializing in carpet and tile cleaning. In 2013 Chris joined the Sandlapper team with Brad Owen, Rick Owen, and Wells Reese, eventually becoming an Account Manager, dedicated to providing the best service he can. In 2021, Chris became our Director of Operations. In his off time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, lake days, and being anywhere live music is.
